How many hours are you willing (and able) to work?

Based on an average (full-time) working year, you will have 260 working days.
On these days you sometimes have to update the administration or travel the necessary distance by car or train.

These are activities that you cannot simply pass on to customers or clients.

Billable hours

It is therefore smart to also make an estimate of the amount of non-reimbursable hours. These include, for example:

• Administrative tasks
• Product development costs
• Acquisition and networking
• Travel time

Many (starting) entrepreneurs do not have a fully booked agenda with paid assignments throughout the year. So estimate your billable hours in the beginning rather lower than too high. Then it can always turn out better later on.
